6.5 Try It! Exercises
1. Generating Frequency Tables and Graphs on the Performance Variables
Use the Frequencies procedure described in Section 6.2 to generate frequency tables of the first and second set of leadership performance scores (perform1 and perform2).
- Generate the following descriptive statistics for both variables: mean, median, mode and standard deviation.
- Generate histograms (with a normal curve) of both variables.
- Print your output file to submit to your instructor.
- Write an intepretation of the results to submit to your instructor. Follow the example in Section 6.3, stating your conclusions about
- the typical leader performance scores of employees before and after attending the leader training workshop
- the variability in peformance scores, and any changes you observe in the distribution of scores from perform1 to perform2
