Acute coronary syndromes (ACS) are divided into: Akute koronare Syndrome (ACS) sind unterteilt in:

STEMI is when there is a transmural infartion of the myocardium - which just means that the entire thickness of the myocardium has undergone necrosis - resulting in ST elevation.
